Managed to create an advanced search option for my Radley site. Creating an advanced template set and then creating a new index template with the necessary HTML was easy. Not sure if it’s OK to link to an advanced template set from within a non-advanced template blog … Discovered MT manuals — fantastic (indispensable) resource for coding.

Link to your Radley site is broken. Ian
Yep — when I update the index back at Atomz, it loses the link back at TypePad. The answer seems to be to add in,
where ‘xxxx’ is the name of the list you’re trying to link to — this then calls the most recent version. I’m working on adding this, but right now am cooking for some friends coming round tonight!
Have, however, earlier today, managed to coax the calendar archiving feature (ie, click on highlighted date) into delivering not just one result (its default is to link to the most recent entry for that day) but to list all the entries for that day. Requires use of advanced templates. This from Brenna:
In your sidebar.inc advanced template, you would look for this section in the calendar code:
“><$MTCalendarDay$>
And change it so the link points to your daily archive page instead. (You’d need to make sure and have daily archives enabled for the weblog for the code to work):
“><$MTCalendarDay$>
